Pan American Health Organization strengthen capacities among the Caribbean States to fight covid-19 pandemic

The Pan American health organization (PAHO) begun preparing laboratories in the Caribbean region to perform early diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 (now covid-19) since 12th February by training virologists from Central America and the Caribbean (Cuba and the Dominican Republic).

PHARMACOLOGY HAVANA 2019: Biomedicine and Pharmaceuticals serving society

Successful Workshop in Havana. Positron Emission Tomography: Technology and Applications

The PET course was designed to train Cuban researchers and professionals to work with new kinds of short-life isotopes generated using the cyclotron installed at the Medical Surgical Research Centre in Havana.
