The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) collaborating Centre of the Pedro Kouri Institute of Tropical Medicine will be hosting the 16th International Course on Dengue, Zika and other emergent arboviruses, 12th – 23rd August 2019 in Havana, Cuba.
Next UK Trade Mission to Cuba organized by Lord Triesman of Cuba Initiative, Caribbean Council will take place from 16th to 19th June, Havana Cuba. The mission has the support of Mr Rodrigo Malmierca, Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment.
The PET course was designed to train Cuban researchers and professionals to work with new kinds of short-life isotopes generated using the cyclotron installed at the Medical Surgical Research Centre in Havana. This technology will offer new possibilities in the early diagnostic of cancer and new applications in neurosciences and cardiovascular research.
